Alison Talbert is a serigraph artist based in Austin, Texas.

Alison has a B.A. in Fine Art with a photography concentration from Trinity University and is an active member of the Austin Screen Printing Co Op. While studying photography she explored alternative process photography such as ink transfers and cyanotypes which lead her to printmaking.

Most of her pieces are inspired by her photography, capturing a pattern, moment, or color palette in nature that she finds moving. Taking her original vision from a photograph to a digital illustration, converting it to a stencil, and finally to paper and ink allows for the image to evolve with every step of the process. She enjoys creating pieces with many layers and colors and loves the unpredictability of how the layers will interact and what new colors and patterns will emerge when the inks collide. She finds this process immensely satisfying and a constant reminder to stay flexible and open to opportunities and connections around her.
