This series came from my fascination with cloud formations, particularly at sunrise and sunset. I began by capturing images of clouds and studying the way that the changing light is diffused and interacts with their transparency. I converted these images to Bitmap CYMK prints and experimented with different ways that the layers can overlap and the colors interact, reflecting the process that originally inspired the series.
